We, three women, traveled to Tanzania on a private tour. Dallas ( from "Terrain Tanzania Safaris") was our professional guide. Our trip exceeded all our expectations in the best of ways! Our guide, Dallas, was the highlight of the trip! He was informative, charming and made us feel at ease in even the most remote locations. We experienced an abundance of wildlife because of his extensive knowledge of the country. He knew the history of the area, the information on each animal and bird and had insight to all the cultural nuances we experienced. Our tent accommodations were clean and safe. We spent more than two weeks with George as our safari guide, through Kenya and Tanzania, from the waters of Amboseli, to Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro crater, to the Serengeti and Masai Mara. We could not have been in better hands. George's knowledge of the wildlife was excellent, sometimes predicting behavior before it even happened. This was our first trip to Africa and of course we went to see the big five and we saw them all, including leopards within several feet of our land cruiser.

And besides George's vast understanding of the Wild, from animals to the plant life, his personal warmth and caring made our safari not just fun, but an exceptional experience. They say "you go to Africa to see the animals, but you return because of the people." That is so true. George's warmth and caring personality represents the best of the people of Tanzania.
