These animals are closely followed by a range of predators such as lions and leopards. From the open roof of the vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the wildlife. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Then after a full day in the park, you will drive to your accommodation at Marera Valley Lodge, where you will be able to relax, enjoy dinner and spend the night.

After breakfast at your Rhino Lodge, depart for Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some two million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa. See great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and hundreds upon hundreds of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas and Grant's gazelles. A picnic lunch will be provided. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti, you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive.
